val de sol has been pretty good this week.todd and i managed a good ride on tuesday and i somehow bonked after just 3hours.i was pretty dizzy comin off the passe tonale and had to stop for a coke.we rode this other pass that climbed over 1200m vertical and i didnt eat anything so it figures. almost at the top...climbed for another 5km from here....
my epic weighs in at 8.920kg with the set up for val di sol

the rest of the week has been spent sleeping, eating, riding the track which has way more climbing than it already had and sitting in the river.claire has been making the best lunches as always and the mechanics have got the bikes dialed.ill be on my epic again this week as the climbs are so steep ive been munchin the handlebars.my hands even get tired from pulling on the grips so hard.

we have had the worst service at the hotel tevini here in commezadura.the owner guy has been givin us shit about wearing hats inside and havin our emaculately cleaned bikes in our rooms.this morning he barged into our room with a drug tester.he didnt knock and when he came in he put on the lights and opened all the shutters whilst crapping himself because the bikes were in snuck into our room.it felt more like raid then a doping control.i had alittle bombshock going on and it wasnt even 7am yet.
dylan our mechanic gettin freaky to what is love...with us on the rollers without shirts it must have looked uber gay...

the rest of today has been spent hanging at the pits.it's raining so we all rode the trainers and made chit chat with everyone passing by.its pretty much a rest day so the rain is perfect.the course was super dry before so the rain might be good as long as it stops tommorow.

till race day...

ciao
